Unusually like a Blake Pierce novel and have read quite a few, however I have just put this one to bed early. I was getting fedbup with the typing mistakes and bad punctuation ( does nobody proof read e-books ) and then the whole book reveals a complete contradiction that I find unforgivable. Chapter 23 agent fines tells suspect that the victim was two months pregnant. A few pages are spent around this subject. Then in Chapter 27 the same suspect is arrested by different agents and brought in for interrogation. Questioned again by agent fines he says he was unaware of the pregnancy and only found out from the arresting agents. No correction from agent fines so obviously she has forgotten she had already told him. Shame on you Blake Pierce for writing this badly. A number one fan lost. No time for B.S. When I've purchased a book. This book deserves no stars whatsoever but I guess I have to put one in to rate this book and spare others the disappointment. ONCE DISSATISFIED

I couldn't put this book down. Excited to get to the next one. A few spelling errors and grammar mistakes but a great read. Blake is easily becoming one of my favorite authors.

The first book does just enough for some lazy reading. But this second book is embarrassing. The story is so weak and boring, the characters are poorly developed... It's all a waste of time. The author should ask 'why should the reader care'? Certainly not continuing with this series!
