Good enough. But ending felt too rushed, and I hated the description of that last important scene, it was too predictable and clichéd 😝 Tho I thoroughly enjoyed those first 30-something chapters. I like Kate Wise as a person 👍

it was ok I just wasn't into it it includes some strong language so of you don't like that I would advise against reading this book it is book 1 of a series and the rest of the books cost money so if you only like books that are free and like to read the whole set don't get this book

Sadly I agree with some of the other less positive comments. It was very hard going, being "naarrated" by Laura Bannister, who cannot change the bland emotion in her voice, her tone is the same for someone who is calm to someone who is angry so this does not work. It took me so long to listen to it, with gaps of days at times, I kept forgetting what was going on so can't really comment on the content of the story. Will make sure I don't listen to anything narrated by her in future, sorry Blake.
