Manipulation is the conscious act of causing somI thought this book was going to be about how to trick people and make them do what you want, but it really is a lot more positive than that This book made me sad and sometimes angry but it also gives good information on how to tell when someone is trying to manipulate you. The book does describe various different methods of what I would consider negative manipulation, but I've found that it has helped me more to recognize when someone was trying to manipulate me, knowingly or not. The world is already full of manipulators and now the rest of us can learn how to do it too.
