About this audiobook

Dark psychology tactics are used by people around us every day to manipulate, coerce, and influence us to get what they want. Are you using them?

Dark psychology is the art and science of manipulation and mind control. While psychology is the study of human behavior and is central to our thoughts, actions, and interactions, the term dark psychology is the phenomenon by which people use tactics of motivation, persuasion, manipulation, and coercion to get what they want.

Here is a preview of what you'll hear:

  • What makes manipulators so effective?
  • Does mind control and brainwashing really work?
  • How can you leverage NLP techniques to get what you want?
  • How cults and organizations use mind control
  • Subliminal influencing through advertising and media
  • Learn to protect yourself against being manipulated
  • And much, much more!

THIS BOOK IS DARK PSHYCOLOGY! It's not a book. It's a pamphlet. I should have checked the length. It's maybe 20 minutes long. The overly long title makes you think you're getting more than you really are. I learned the key points of this topic but realized I will need to seek additional information elsewhere. Then, the conclusion chapter which reads off a list of all the things you just learned from the book is in and of itself dark psychology. I mean maybe that's pretty brilliant if you just want to peddle pamphlets at $5 a pop, but anyone actually seeking knowledge on the subject should run as fast from this as possible... at least that's what the pamphlet suggests.

You know, I guess my bad for not noticing the short length here - but this audiobook was over so fast I was like - wow what happened? It was just so short and to charge $5 - then I see the eBook is 45 pages and I am kicking myself. So - I am giving it a hit for the shortness and also there was interesting stuff in here and I started getting into the subject and then it was over. I would agree with others who mentioned that it was also short on source material/footnotes type stuff. Facts were thrown out there without enough findings to back them up. I mainly writing this review to give people a heads up who aren't paying attention to the length of this before they buy. I wish it was longer and there was more there.

I assumed this was written by a psychologist given the subject matter and the fact that it’s non-fiction, but the egregious amount of typos and terrible grammar makes me *genuinely* wonder if English was their first language. To say it’s redundant and written for the laymen is too eloquent of a description. A good example of the redundant and unnecessary explanations could be exhibited by this kind taken from the book:
