The H-E-B® Prepaid App lets you manage your Card Account wherever you are. That means it’s convenient to do things like:

- Check your Card Account balance and transaction history
- Send money to friends and family
- Find no cost reload locations**

Approval review usually takes 3 to 5 minutes but can take up to one hour. All checks are subject to approval for funding in Ingo Money’s sole discretion. Fees apply for approved Money in Minutes transactions funded to your card. Unapproved checks will not be funded to your card. I love HEB but I came to hate Netspend. I called to update my new cell phone number. Very bad idea. Netspend immediately blocked my account without telling me. Suddenly, I was stranded with zero money. Because I am a contractor who lives in hotels, it was impossible to unblock it because Netspend doesn't accept Hotel Invoices as proof of current address. It was hopeless and terrifying. I got Chime. Much better program. Even has a virtual debit card whose number can be changed. Much better.

WAY too many charges that come with this card. Charge to check your balance?! Give me a break. I spend like $30-$50/ month on card charges. It's a waste if money and I wish I would have taken time to thoroughly read about the terms of the card before I paid for it and signed up with this NetSpend company. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, there are so many online banking apps that you can add money to or refill at just as many locations that are free with little to no fees.

This card is easy to use, as I do all my grocery shopping at HEB. The only problem I ever encountered was I could not use it with some cash apps. I have used it for more than 6 years and never had an issue with the card that was not resolved immediately to my satisfaction.
