I absolutely love this book.... I just wish that the ending was a bit, well, "more". I was hooked from the start and I have listened to the book on Audible too. The book is a slightly different take on vampires and during the story I laughed out loud, tensed up with suspense, rolled my eyes at certain characters and I was definitely hot under the collar several times throughout the experience. With having around a thousand different books across a variety of applications I rarely leave a review.....unless I was impressed/disheartened/ angry/obsessed...so, as you can imagine, this author has been a pleasure to encounter for the first time. Even with the rush to the end of the story I will definitely be searching for another of her works! TO THE AUTHOR (if she is the type to read reviews)=> Thank you for your efforts Ms. Lyons!! I am sick of the typical plots in books from the past few years and reading your work was not only entertaining but definitely a pleasant surprise! xx
