I have to say that Owen frustrated me quite a bit, yes I get that he’s young, hot, talented and rich, basically, he has the world at his feet and likes to take advantage of the lady smorgasbord available to him. Fair enough, but that makes it hard for me to be fully on-board with him changing into a one-woman man *shrugs*. However, I will say that Owen is just as stunned by his transformation as I was lol Becca has a wonderful support system plus is a beautiful person inside and out. Unfortunately, she was a survivor of a sexual assault and has had a problem with intimacy as a result. All the Way was very insightful in the way it portrayed the struggle for survivors of sexual assault to allow themselves to be vulnerable with another person. From the flashbacks to the anxiety and feelings of inadequacy as a result. I understood Becca’s desire to take control of her sexuality and her ease with Owen to be able to set the plan in motion. It was also inevitable that real feelings would become involved. As much as Becca attempted to remain aloof to the feels Owen inspired, it was Owen’s struggle with his feelings which formed the foundation of the story. Especially as Owen has specific tastes in the bedroom department which are at odds with dealing with a survivor of an assault. Although Becca is a lot more than Owen could have ever anticipated. All the Way re-affirms that the best partners are friends as well as lovers 😍

When it comes to sports romances, Kendall Ryan really knows her stuff. Another wonderful story from Kendall Ryan. All The Way is the second in the ‘Hot Jocks’ series. The books are standalones although previous characters do turn up here. This was a sweet and sexy story that was well written and with relatable characters. Becca and Owen just made me smile ( and snort laugh- see opening chapters) in this lighthearted friends to lovers story. It’s fresh, funny and just perfect for a wet weekend read. This books was absolutely amazing! Probably my favorite out of the series so far (but really, I think I've said that about each book. They just keep getting better!) Once I picked this book up, I just couldn't stop reading, and finished it in one sitting! This book definitely pulled on the heartstrings, and left me wanting more! Becca is such an amazing woman! She has had a horrific, traumatic thing happen, and after years of letting it control her life, she is determined to take back that control! Granted, the way she decides to do that is a bit....unconventional. But she knows what she wants, and that is to be able to have a normal life, sees a way of getting what she wants, and goes for it, with no hesitation! Owen is a typical hockey player. He loves the game, and loves the ladies. And he sees no reason not to indulge himself. Until his friend asks him for something so unusual, so out of the ordinary, it throws him for a loop! But being the nice guy he is, he would do anything for his friends. And that is when things get a little crazy! This book was just as touching as it was hilarious. Drunk Becca had me ROFLMBO! But the real connection and the loyal friendship between Owen and Becca was such a beautiful thing to see. I absolutely loved their story! It is definitely one that I'd have my friends sit down and read!
