About the author

George S. Clason was an American author. He is most often associated with his book The Richest Man in Babylon, which was first published in 1926 and consists of a series of informational pamphlets about thriftiness and achieving financial success. Clason is credited with coining the phrase “pay yourself first.” He died in Napa, California, and is buried at Golden Gate National Cemetery in San Mateo County, California.
