I liked it but I can also understand why some might not. I think it was an important story to tell: Nestas' story. So many books have a character get over their trauma by just falling in love. But the real healing comes with a lot of time and effort, with loving yourself enough to endure the rest. That's exactly what this book is about. This book is absolutely action packed and probably could've been turned into it's own little trilogy instead of being the 4th book of this series. I love different viewpoints but since the first 3 were mostly from the eyes and heart of Ferye, this one just felt out of place. It continues the story but not in the way I would've expected given the first 3 books, it barely furthers the overall plot even though it's nearly 800 pages š
Overall a great book! I love the new characters and the things we start to learn about some known characters. I can't wait for the next one!

This book is good but if you are looking for F and R they are only in in a bit. (But big info parts) This books focuses on Her sister and Cas. Definitely some Key points you need to read for F&R. It will make you cry and laugh as books 1-4. Still going through sadness of being done Can not wait for more. So I am starting the Glass series. I started reading Maas with the crecent series. I know backwards right. but Still all good. She really makes you feel the characters to the point to living there. And I love that. because reality sucks. I like to enjoy my mind elsewhere. Oh yeah forgot to add definitely the kinkiest so far. I can give or take that. doesn't matter to me.

What a fantastic literacy piece! Sarah J. Maas definitely has a love of language. As you read a sentence, a character, or a story of hers, you are affected deeply, in a physical way. You want to enter her world and be a part of it; live it, eat it, love it, hate it. What's more, her openness to the imagination. Wow! She creates a fantastical fantasy world and characters that captures the reader's attention from start to finish. Her weird and wonderful imagination makes her creation so very special. This was by far my favorite book in the series of ACOTAR. Nesta and Cassian's story was the most raw and emotional love story in the series. It teased every emotion out of the me as I experienced their hurt, struggles, restariants, and love. Yes, I am obsessed with this fae-filled world romantasy! Off to her next series, "Throne of Glass".
