Very emotional! I already love the manga and the movie, but reading the narrative in the novel is a whole different experience. It gives you a better understanding about their thoughts, especially the MC. I'm glad I read this book!

Read this after seeing the movie. They both provide great moments that made think about my own life. This coming-of-age, young-adult-esque story is worth trying out if you're into light novels. I wouldn't say this is a groundbreaking novel, but as a sucker for this genre, it definitely kept my attention.

Smiled like a damn idiot through most of this book. If you're familiar with Japanese media (Light novels, anime, manga, etc) this is bound to be a good read for you.
