Down the Yukon by Will Hobbs Path to Victory Jason and his brothers are off to try and win a race and get this gold because there city caught fire and they can $20,000 for winning. Jason’s girlfriend and him really want to win this race, but they had a little fear in them only because there were on an ocean that Jamie and Jason hat to go across. So as they were heading toward the ocean, coming from the Yukon River, a tree had fallen on there boat and they had to build a new one. Then as they got to the ocean it was stormy and bad weather. In order to see the results of the race and who won the race you have to read this great book. One thing I disliked or that could be improved is the way the book started off. I never like how it got good as you went further into it chapter. I like the books that you pick up and the action is already started in the first chapter. One thing that I like is how the book is easy to read. Also after you got into the book there is a lot of excitement. Towards the end of the book it gets really good because of all the action from the race. The book isn’t apart of a series that I know of. The only show that comes to my mind that reminds me of this book is a show that is sometimes on in the mornings. I can’t exactly remember what the name of it is, but it is a show how these two guys go out in search of gold down a creek bed and this is not a race. The kinds of people that I think would enjoy this book are people who don’t mind reading big books. Also some other examples that I’d like to share with you are the type of people who like adventurous books or books that deal with the outdoors, winter in Alaska, and gold would really enjoy it. The way Down the Yukon was written reminds me of a book that Gary Paulson would write. The way this book is set up deals with the outdoors just like Gary’s books.

After reading this book I just feel in love with it <3. I think it's a great action-packed adventure story that I think people should check out. If you are a fan of adventure stories or a fan of "Jasons gold" then you will love this book trust me.
