Plot was a little confussing but the jist of it was easy and one that has been recycled many times as far as how things escalate. There were too many cameos and I didn't know half of who was on the screen/page most of the time. Still an enjoyable read bc the action is non-stop and tragedy is on evry other page. Not the ending I wanted but it sufficed.

Honestly the story blew me away, I really liked the narration throughout giving the story more oomph. The only criticism I have is that the Joker and Harley had next to no business being in this story. It's just a vehicle to tell Harley's emancipation story yet again, but this time it's not even satisfying as the Joker himself wasn't even given any lines. The single weak aspect of this story and it's enough to take a star off the top.

quite possibly the greatest take on the zombie apocalypse theme out there. DC really does their stuff right, every scene in this book will find a way to touch you, from (spoilers) Bruce's death to black canary becoming green lantern to green arrow shooting an arrow through a hericane, half a mile, and sinking it into the head of a zombie aquaman who is riding a kraken. this story really stands out from other superhero/zombie stories like Marvel Zombies and Task Force Z
