One touch is all it takes. One touch, and Juliette Ferrars can leave a fully grown man gasping for air. One touch, and she can kill.

No one knows why Juliette has such incredible power. It feels like a curse, a burden that one person alone could never bear. But The Reestablishment sees it as a gift, sees her as an opportunity. An opportunity for a deadly weapon.

Juliette has never fought for herself before. But when she’s reunited with the one person who ever cared about her, she finds a strength she never knew she had.

This book is way too much melodrama and not nearly enough meat. I love series books, but each book should stand alone. This book was like half a story. Worse yet, the main character is a blithering idiot who makes every minute detail into a painfully long drivel of emotional vomit. I can't fathom how this is a successful series among anyone other than maybe the boy band fan crowd...even then, as a parent, I'd never want my teen or tween daughter to read it. The ridiculous love story is about a healthy a concept to feed to young girls as pornography is to feed to young boys to explore their attitudes toward sex. We don't need girls reading the equivalent of tween/teen fairy tales with these types of silly characters. It is insulting to what young women can and are interested in to pander them this kind of trash.

It's was kind of hard to follow and so many times I wanted to give up on this book because I just couldn't get I to it because it so hard to follow and I kind of felt that a lot happened so fast yet nothing happened at all... until the middle of the book totally took me by surprise! It took me about a week to get through the first half then I couldn't put it down! I stayed up until 2 a.m. yesterday and I finally finished it! Different style of write makes it good also!

I won't lie when I say that I was a bit disapoointed with this book. Juliette, the main character, I'll admit that she was very cool but, I feel like her transition from the asylum to wherever Warner brought her was very unrealistic. It had been YEARS since she had social interaction and I think for her to be so OPEN (regarding emotions and her social interactions) that quickly was very psychologically incorrect (but that's besides the point). I also feel like the ending was cut off for absolutely no reason and it was a really awkward place to end a book? if that makes sense. I also feel like it's a very cliche book. I feel like the relationship between Adam and Juliette, and Warner and Juliette is not unique AT ALL. I find it a little weird how Warner is OBSESSED with Juliette and saying that he loves her? it's just weird because he doesn't know her personality wise. The same goes for Adam, their relationship started with quick glances and I just found it weird how once they saw each other again, they both mutually agreed that they love each other. What I'm trying to say is that I'm completely confused on how every 'important/ main' character is able to throw the word "love" around. Overall, I was slightly disappointed but I think I'll try my best to finish up the series.
