This is the story of Porter/Oz and Riley. This story is part of the Delta Team #2 series. This story was so heart wrenchingly fantastic! This book has the feels, every single one of them, and some of them more than once or twice even. It was endearing to see such a tough aloha man so completely out of his depth with a small nephew that was just delivered to him via social services after his sister was killed. There are secrets. There are lessons learned, by everyone. There is drama, but oh! The ending... just the feels people, more of them.

This was an emotional rollercoaster of a story and I hated to see it end! The highs left me euphoric and the lows were often gut wrenching. Porter, Riley, young Logan and little Bria are indelibly imprinted on my heart and forever etched in my mind. Susan Stoker has once again demonstrated why her books are so addictive.

Shielding Riley did not disappoint! Love me some Oz!
