"This. Book. The characters. You will fall in love with them, and you will devour this book so quickly, you'll end up wanting to read it all over again. I loved it!" — New York Times bestselling author Monica Murphy

When I signed up for the nanny agency, I didn't expect a remote mansion on a windswept cliff. Or a brooding billionaire who resents his new role. His brother's death means he's now in charge of a moody seven year old girl. She's lashing out at the world, but I can handle her. I have to. I need the money to finish my college degree. As long as I can avoid the boss who alternately mocks me and coaxes me to reveal my darkest secrets.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports. When I signed up for the nanny agency, I didn't expect a remote mansion on a windswept isle. This book is amazing. A real page turner from the beginning to the end. We meet Jane Mendoza who is a girl who has been though the foster system, made it out and now is in need of desperate need for money to finish college. She is going to finish college and not be a static if it is the last thing she does. She has taken a job with a family that is an uncle and his niece has her parents were killed in a terrible accident. Now Jane is meeting Beau Rochester and she is not a fan at first and he wasn't so much a fan of hers but he lets her stay with an adorable kitten that she had to keep alive. And then there is Paige. She is Beau's niece and he has no idea how to take care of her. He was to busy being the son of a lobsterman and wanted to make a success of a business for a girl that he just has not idea how to care for a child. Before you know it Jane has also caught the eye of her boss and things get confusing for her but good things also happen. You are going to love this book. I read it from cover to cover and didn't put it down. I am so in love with these characters and need the next book in my hands right now.

Good start to the series, I hope we get to know a softer side of the hero. Jane had such a difficult life and I hope she stays strong. Beau has a mean side and I would love to see him acting a little softer to Jane, showing what he truly has in his heart. It ends on a cliffhanger and I must say I am hooked and can't wait for the story to continue. Despite the obvious obstacles in both main characters personal pasts and in their present lives, I do believe they can save each other.

Skye Warren is one of my go-to authors and I was so happy to see a new trilogy coming out from her. Private Property is an age gap/nanny romance - two of my favorite tropes... But Private Property has mystery, a young woman that is defiant at times, sweet in others. Mr. Rochester (Beau) is dark and tempting, mean and understanding, hiding secrets that we want to know but might be afraid to find out. I highly enjoyed the intrigue of the story and can't wait to see what the second one brings. Beau is an enigma that I want to figure out.
