Ratings and reviews

No complaints. I love most things involving Dick Grayson and this is no exception. The art is ripe for an animated adaptation, but is full of personality and vibrance as is. The character interactions between Dick Grayson and Jason Todd were enjoyable, and the emotional impact of the scene where Bruce and Dick argue is as heavy as it should be. Reading this story after reading Batman Chronicles: The Gauntlet is very satisfying. The inclusion of a beta suit inspired by the interwoven circus origins of both Grayson and Deadman was neat, and made it even more fun when he finally receives the classic Disco Suit at the end of the story. All the respect and nods to other events in Dick Grayson's history make this one of my favorites. Chuck Dixon and Scott McDaniel are the most iconic team responsible for shaping the Dick Grayson mythos, and this is proof.
