About this ebook

New York Times bestselling author Sarah MacLean returns with the much-anticipated final book in her Bareknuckle Bastards series, featuring a scoundrel duke and the powerful woman who brings him to his knees.

Grace Condry has spent a lifetime running from her past. Betrayed as a child by her only love and raised on the streets, she now hides in plain sight as queen of London’s darkest corners. Grace has a sharp mind and a powerful right hook and has never met an enemy she could not best...until the man she once loved returns.

Single-minded and ruthless, Ewan, Duke of Marwick, has spent a decade searching for the woman he never stopped loving. A long-ago gamble may have lost her forever, but Ewan will go to any lengths to win Grace back…and make her his duchess.

Reconciliation is the last thing Grace desires. Unable to forgive the past, she vows to take her revenge. But revenge requires keeping Ewan close, and soon her enemy seems to be something else altogether—something she can’t resist, even as he threatens the world she's built, the life she's claimed…and the heart she swore he'd never steal again.

Full review at I am, Indeed Oh this was marvelous: from recognizing the power and changes in Grace as she’s made places for women, taken care of the people in the East End, and watched her brothers find their loves, while she’s been angry and bent on revenge. But Ewan, the Duke, has other plans and wants to show Grace that he’s changed, he loves her and wants her. Full of stories of loyalty, the push for changing and remaking society to allow for women to exist and thrive, and above all, the story of what happened on fateful night, and how everything can be remade in an image that deletes the seat of the Duke of Marwick. This is a great series of redemption and redefining life within your own rules. A favorite series and this is the perfect wrap up for the story of the Bareknucle Bastards. I received an eArc copy of the title from the publisher via Edelweiss from purpose of honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own responsibilty.

I just finished reading the Bareknuckle series. Shall I tell you something true? I cannot express how much I loved these charcters, how wonderfully intricate the plot is linking them, and how satisfying the resolution is for me. I loved every minute of all three novels; they were intriguing, sexy, and suspenseful. Thank you for writing with such passion. Bravo!!

I love a badass heroine in a regency (she's a brawler! she runs a club for women!) but I didn't think I would be able to forgive Ewan (see books 1 & 2 in the series). At least not enough to want to see an HEA. I was wrong - this book was quite a ride (in a good way)
