About this ebook

Sarah J. Maas's sexy, richly imagined series continues with the journey of Feyre's fiery sister, Nesta.

Nesta Archeron has always been prickly-proud, swift to anger, and slow to forgive. And ever since being forced into the Cauldron and becoming High Fae against her will, she's struggled to find a place for herself within the strange, deadly world she inhabits. Worse, she can't seem to move past the horrors of the war with Hybern and all she lost in it.

The one person who ignites her temper more than any other is Cassian, the battle-scarred warrior whose position in Rhysand and Feyre's Night Court keeps him constantly in Nesta's orbit. But her temper isn't the only thing Cassian ignites. The fire between them is undeniable, and only burns hotter as they are forced into close quarters with each other.

Meanwhile, the treacherous human queens who returned to the Continent during the last war have forged a dangerous new alliance, threatening the fragile peace that has settled over the realms. And the key to halting them might very well rely on Cassian and Nesta facing their haunting pasts.

Against the sweeping backdrop of a world seared by war and plagued with uncertainty, Nesta and Cassian battle monsters from within and without as they search for acceptance-and healing-in each other's arms.

This book is good but if you are looking for F and R they are only in in a bit. (But big info parts) This books focuses on Her sister and Cas. Definitely some Key points you need to read for F&R. It will make you cry and laugh as books 1-4. Still going through sadness of being done Can not wait for more. So I am starting the Glass series. I started reading Maas with the crecent series. I know backwards right. but Still all good. She really makes you feel the characters to the point to living there. And I love that. because reality sucks. I like to enjoy my mind elsewhere. Oh yeah forgot to add definitely the kinkiest so far. I can give or take that. doesn't matter to me.

I love love the ACOTAR series. I was reluctant on starting this book because Nesta was my absolute least favorite character. I only started it because all the reviews told me it was worth it and I knew there would probably be more books to come and I wanted to be caught up.. So to sum up, 400 pages were about Nesta's mental health journey, 400 pages of smut and 100 pages of actual plot. Nesta becomes more of a relatable character throughout the book, even though it took me a long time to warm up to her character. It wasn't as hard to put down as the first 3 books in this series was. It was pretty hard to get through the first half of the book if I'm being honest and I didn't find myself not wanting to put the book down until near the end. I am looking forward to the next book and more character developments to come. I recommend reading this book even if you really hate Nesta, Cassian is literal GOALS he makes the whole thing worth it.

I didn't like how the relationship between Cassian and Nesta went, it was way too centered on the physical aspect and how they just couldn't wait to get in each other's pants. There was no surprise to big reveals in the book either. I didn't like how Nesta's character was explored either, it just seemed like there were pieces missing. I'm still a fan of Sarah J Maas story telling and own the whole Throne of Glass series, just this one was a hit and miss for me.
