Really fun follow up to Sandman Slim. I love that the character has a ridiculous amount of rough edges surrounding a mushy core of good - primarily motivated by saving the people he cares about. After all the years he spent in hell it just makes sense that he isn't quite the decent and productive member of society he once was. And having read subsequent books in the series, I can say his evolution seems very realistic - ie: he never becomes the paragon of virtue some writers might force him to be after a few books. He's always a force for chaos. And that's just good pulpy fun.

Really hooked me and dragged me around like a fish on a hook. It was all I expected of a sequel and twisted a few wonderful ways. Fully recommend!
