I have enjoyed all the Sandman Slim books thus far. If I were to rank all 10 books though, I would have to rank this one number 10. I have really come to enjoy the witty dialogue and outrageous landscapes and fight scenes ,but, this was missing throughout most of this book. My hope is that it is simply a bridge between storylines and we are in for one helluva book #11

Kadrey carries Sandman Slim forward with a lot of flash and hoodoo. If you've read the other SS books, dive in. If not, you might want to start at the beginning.

I'm a huge fan of the Sandman Slim series, and this one did not disappoint. Can't wait for the movie to come out, I'll be first in line at the theatre.
