I enjoyed reading this second chance, later-in-life romance. Tandy has been a fun and slightly outrageous character in the previous books in the Stargazer Springs Ranch series. It was interesting to read her story. Matthew is a sweet and incredibly patient man. Tandy did not make it easy for him. I love the close friendships that the ladies in the series have with one another, which is expressed in taking care of one another and in being incredibly nosey! I would read more by Carrington.

What a hoot and topped with chocolate! Who can resist a man who brings you chocolate candy and leaves chocolate kisses around your house? Tandy tries because Matthew embarrassed her when they were teenagers - a horrible misunderstanding sent them running in opposite directions! Tandy swears never to speak to Matt! But then, Tandy has a dream for a property she just bought - Matchmaker Ranch. Matt is the best man to be the contractor. Oil and water or tea and chocolate? Second chance at romance!

I have been waiting for Tandy‘s story, and boy was it worth the wait! I loved her cameos in several of the earlier books in this series. She has always been such a vibrant, charismatic figure. I’ve just wanted to know her more! Her story was simply wonderful! I loved getting to know Matthew, and seeing how their story came together. Love later in life is precious to see. The author certainly kept it real with several obstacles that had to be overcome. Fantastic story!!!
