I was hopeing for something like death bound dukes daughter. Sadly this did not hit the mark. after finishing the 4 volumes though I think this series would of been loads better if it was all just crammed into one 700 page novel. the way you are fed plot makes most of the characters seem utterly insane until you learn more about them in volume 3 and 4.

A very compelling story, with descriptions that give insight on every character. As you read you can truly feel Violette's sorrow and regret.
