Mari reveals the strength of her powers and the secret of her dual nature as she embarks on a mission to save herself and her people. It is not until Nik, the son of the leader from a rival, dominating Tribe, strays across her path that Mari experiences something she has never felt before. This book is really good, but it is a bit of slow reading as you get to understand the characters and their different backgrounds. However, the world building is done really well and you quickly become infatuated with most of the characters and the animals of course. Sora was an unexpected favorite character later in the book, but I think Nik overall was my favorite from this book!

As with all other books I have read written by this talented and amazing author, this series is yet another great line of work. I highly recommend reading any and ALL books written by P.C. Cast! She has a way with words and is able to just take you into the worlds she writes about like no other author. Never stop writing P.C. YOU'RE BRILLIANT!

This is another great book by PC Cast. Fell in love with the characters and hoped for ships that didn't sail but new ones had been made. I love that the main fmc is finally being able to discover her other self so she will be able to know who she truly is.
