About this ebook

America has a heroin problem.

Oliver moves from New York to Florida. Battling with depression, he gets sucked into the seedy underworld of Fort Myers, where he encounters a number of female drug addicts. He empathizes with them because of his own traumatic past. Oliver feels compelled to try to help them escape the addict lifestyle, but learns the hard way that he is in way over his head.

"A truly fascinating and unexpected look at the darker side of addiction."

Really good...just a really crazy fucked up ride for a guy who just couldnt stop messing with heroin addicted hookers...I was addicted to heroin for 5 years in and out of rehab jail etc so this really took me back and showed me how sick I was im my active addiction...the drug talk was kind of triggering at first but then it made me sonhappy to be clean. Read if ur an addict or ur not.

Fairly good writing style and engaging. I just found it difficult to believe that all of these young addicted women just happened to think that he was such a nice guy that they had sex with him upon first meeting without being paid. He does talk a good game about substance abuse but he is by no means a professional and he mocks these poor women just like the other writers he criticized he just did it in a different way. I'm so happy that this e-book was free and all I wasted was a little time on it.

It stirred many emotions saddness anger frustration empathy while trying to make light with a bit of humor which was many times hard to see but always wanting the next page it's amazing to think how much a person will deal with when the heart is involved at any level
