Firstly and strangely, the first part of the title of the book is quite deceiving. Im three quarters of the way through reading the book and I still haven't learnt anything about how the Great American opioid epidemic of the 21st century began as stated, otherwise A very enjoyable and easy to read ebook giving you a look, firstly into the authors very interesting and challenging life with the first love and wife of his life. It is written as a very easy to read personal memoir or diary type ebook with seriously unlucky and disasterous relationship tales of quite a few of his subsequent relationships, the experiences they have together and the lessons the author has learnt along the way. I liked the way it was quite varied in content and it was very easy and enjoyable to read.

It's a good enough story. Just a lot of misspelled words, and parts of the story that seemed to never end that didn't serve a purpose. Other than that it is interesting enough that I bought the second book.

Well it's really good read up to the half way of the book, the other half is all about the same thing over and over and over. Easy to read also free.
