I loved this series! If you like action and suspense, the these books are for you. However, these books are super patriotic and pro-military. I mean, they practically scream AMERICA! I enjoyed the hard science fiction part of it as well. You can tell that the author really researched epidemiology and biology to make it all seem plausible. All in all, I'd recommend the series to anyone who's a fan of military syfy, hard science fiction, and horror.

Love the book, as u have the rest of this series. I'm reading through the book and am putting my judgement as I read. So far I really only encountered 1 error, when President ringrold says that us dropping the bombs on Japan won ww2. That is far from correct and is mostly American propaganda. Will update as I read more.

If you like post-apocalyptic themed books, the Extinction Cycle is a MUST-READ. Nicholas Sansbury-Smith really knows how to capture his audience with the characters, the action, and most of all the story-line! What a fantastic author, and Extinction War really puts Extinction Cycle 1 to a good close. I cannot wait to start Extinction Cycle 2, which takes place years after. Thank you Nicholas for such a fantastic series!

He worked for Iowa Homeland Security and Emergency Management in disaster mitigation before switching careers to focus on his one true passion: writing. When he isn't writing or daydreaming about the apocalypse, he enjoys running, biking, spending time with his family, and traveling the world.
