Another great book in a great series. An original concept in the ever growing field of apocalyptic and dark noir books out there. Characters that grab you and pull you in. Hard to put down books. Something that starts as one man's greed in an attempt to manipulate a troubled ex soldier with PTSD, turns into world changing event. Love it, will be a bittersweet moment when I finish the series. Glad to have read it, but sad that it's over. Plague wars will be going into my reread collection amongst other like Heinlein, Tolkien, Hubbard, Pratchett.

Overall still a fan of davids however i must say this book was a little bit slower then the others still intruiging and awesome ideas of how battles could play out if it ever came to civil war within united states. I recieved my review copy of this book and dove right in unable to stop myself i guess i would have to recant my earlier statement its really not slow its more in depth than slow i was used to the non stop action going this bool went more behind the scenes to look at the unionist party and such
