After reading the teaser, I have to agree with the description. Morgan Rice has a way with her world-building to completely engage the reader and I could literally see their story play out in my mind like I was there. There's so much drama, angst, betrayal, and adventure. Let's not forget there's a romance building in there as well but will it be allowed to flourish? It definitely captured my imagination and I can't wait for the next book to see where Morgan Rice takes.

This series has everything a great fantasy epic could want. The story unfolds from each character’s perspective with in depth emotional expression. Excellent writing, good balance between character development and descriptive detail. Holds the reader’s attention and keeps you wondering what will happen next.

Ok, not much to add to the last review. Gave book one a 3/5 or 6/10. It’s ok and yes I am reading it because I am moving and I have given all my books away and I have nothing else. However, I am not through the free sample part yet. I see the cost is 68,000 Vietnamese dong ( roughly 3 dollars) yet have not purchased it yet. Make of that what you will. I see that the first of this series scored around 4.5/5 which is just too high. Not sure who is scoring his works but a 4/5 is too generous. Descent enough for middle school kids maybe but I wouldn’t say he is a great writer by any degree. Just ok.
