Loved how the story unfolds from each character’s experiences allowing a bird’s eye view into their emotions and thoughts while it feeds back into the bigger picture of how it is all woven together. The in-depth sense of despair, fear, anger, greed, loss, selfishness along with exhilarating adventure and honor. Can’t wait to find out what happens next!

This is the third instalment in the Age of Sorcerers series. This is truly an epic fantasy with a large scale and many characters. The world is well built and the story is well written! I enjoyed reading about each of the characters as they faced their own trials. I definitely want to read the next book to find out what happens and put the pieces together! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Action-packed treachery and intrigue! Prince Rodry is dead and his father, King Godwin, is in a coma. Princess Lenore has been rescued from her kidnappers but home is not necessarily a safe place to be either and Vars, her treacherous half-brother, is Regent. The Northern Kingdom is under attack from the Southern Kingdom and Devins quest for the star metal fragments needed to forge the Unfinished Sword has taken him far from Lenore and Royalsport. This book is full of treachery, plots and subplots, intrigue and action. All the elements are there to make it a fascinating story. I received a free copy but my review is voluntary and honest. It was so exciting that I finished it in one day!
