would have given 5 stars had it not been for the $$. I don't feel this book being priced fairly for what it is. Great story. a bit repetitive using the same speech patterns, words ect for different people.

This is my first foray into a Morgan Rice series (any relation to Anne? Both are excellent writers - several of Anne's huge tomes line one of my bookcases). However, this is as far as I go with Ms. Rice jr. As many others have pointed out, this sort of rampant greed does not a fan make. Too bad, I was really enjoying Ceres' journey, and Morgan has other series that also look interesting. I could have been a loyal (and frequent - I have almost 200 books on this phone and it's less than 2 years old) fan, but to avoid 'death by a thousand cuts' I will move on to other writers. Bye Morgan, I hope you stay safe and I wish you the best. (Seriously! Life is too short to spend it angry and stressed. 🤍)

I can't say much because I don't have the time. I have to get to the next chapter. The suspense is to much for me to bear.
