Ratings and reviews

The first 2 books were good, if you can ignore the awful typos, grammar and huge errors like calling one character another character's name? That right there should have been a tip off that the series wouldn't get better. Ms. Rice HAD a good plot, but carrying it through 6 books is very tiresome. There is absolutely no consistency and the author is simply lazy with her research. It's awful and it's a shame to see mediocre talent made worse with awful editing, awful plot lines and grammar. I could go on...

I have a problem with not finishing stories. So I feel compelled to finish these books. Although, I can for see more castles more breathtaking than the next, Kyle unleashing another army she can't defeat, although she does, more elaborate sarcophagi with hidden scrolls and keys. And what's up with calling out names that aren't in the story and spelling errors?! Let's get on with it already!

The editing on these books is terrible. Please, I'd do it for free not to have so many typos and mistakes . I also hate how weak the author makes the female lead. Making her give up on following her mission and family bond for a "romantic relationship"...please just for once recognise that when you have the power of making a woman be strong and powerful you do not have to make her weaken due to a stroke of the "back of his hand". I am thrilled you've sold thousands of copies but maybe make your editor work for it.
