In true Michel Wood style this book had me gripped with sweaty palms and a rapid heartbeat right from the first couple of chapters. That intensity didn't really ease off all the way through the book and culminated in yet another jaw dropping ending that has left me desperate for more. Michael's talent in evoking a feeling of nervousness and panic for the characters he creates is phenomenal and he is and will always remain one of my very favourite authors. I just wish I didn't have to wait so long between books but I suppose his mastery at weaving a story like he does takes a little time. Another belter of a book, bring on the next.

I love the series, I truly do.....but one thing stuck out in this one.....I know the characters are dealing with a dramatic experience and all of them have been through heavy trauma, but seriously with all the damn crying!!!! I almost stopped reading at a couple points!! I try and put myself in these stories and I'm telling you, I couldn't be around all these tears!! I mean every other sentence......for christ sake! lol

BRILLIANT As usual Michael Woods never disappoints with another fantastic plot with twists and turns in every direction, The only problem is that I can't put it down,
