Concrete Blond had me hooked from the title on. Thumbing through Connely's books 12 yrs later, the title bought back sizzling memories. On my re-read list.

Connelly is one of my favorite contemporary authors of today. As an aspiring author I studied his novels relentlessly. I discovered that he had started his career as a journalist covering crime. I having spent 30 years in federal prison used my experiences to craft my stories. Concrete Blonde is a classic and so is Michael Connelly. This was the first of the Harry Bosch novels that I have read. I loved it. Plot and characters were believable. Now I've read most of Connelly's work. One if my fave crime fiction writers.
