Don't purchase unless you like a little God talk in your children's books. There are several pages where God and the Bible are referenced. We've read some other Little Critter titles, and all except this one have been secular friendly.

Interesting, good and clear on educating little ones on importance of considering others. The pictures are clear and bright. keeps the children captivated. The bible concept in the story is also very good and to the point. my daughter said "you should get more of those ones". Thank you. Blessings.

Mercer Mayer is the writer and illustrator for Little Monster ® and Little Critter ® books. He began writing and illustrating children's books in 1966 and since that time, he has published over 300 titles. Mayer currently lives in New England with his wife Gina, who co-wrote many of the popular Little Critter ® books. He has four children and two grandchildren.
