Ratings and reviews

While I agree with the moral stance this books takes on telling the truth, I am uncomfortable with the author making references to the bible or God as the basis for this moral foundation. Otherwise this is a good book for a child between three and five.

At the start i kinda did not get the story but when i went further in...I was kinda cachen up i liked the part when they got to fly the romote control biplane.

It was very good about explaining the truth. I'm 7 and I loved it. I plan on getting more Little Critter books. - Eliana

Mercer Mayer is the writer and illustrator for Little Monster(r) and Little Critter(r) books. He began writing and illustrating children's books in 1966 and since that time, he has published over 300 titles. Mayer currently lives in New England with his wife Gina, who co-wrote many of the popular Little Critter(r) books. He has four children and two grandchildren.
