34 and still acting like a horny 20 yr old, yep, that was blake. Didn't like his character much. Danica is the therapist that also have her own insecurities. Best at giving advices to people but deaf to her own issues. Their characters slowly evolved in this story, Blake being what he is hitting bars and preying on promiscuous women much like himself. Being like, yeah, pitiful old me. It took the death of a friend to slowly turn things around for him. This story is more of a journey of his emotional issues rather than a love story. Real in a sense that it is not the usual fairytale like romantic journey that the author usually portrays in her novels but rather it tackles more of real life, their failings and poor choices. There are just some gaps in details of the story as though it jumps around from one scene to another. It's not really explained how Blake overcame his sex addiction when although he has this 'obvious attraction' to his therapist he was still banging other women.

The therapy subject made for a really interesting getting to know each other bit, and it sort of stripped away a lot of the posturing people tend to do on their way to becoming a couple. I really liked seeing Blake work through the mess his late friend and business partner kept secret. Good read at times the story lines gets rather boring but overall good easy reading i'll definitely read the whole series to see if Danica and her sister had a happy ever after.
