Easily my favorite conclusion Meghan March has ever written. I am completely blown away by the sheer brilliance of Madam Temptress. This swoony, red hot, explosive and suspenseful read took me on a whirlwind of feelings. Everything from dreamily sighing and swooning to being blindsided and broken hearted. Let me tell you, I enjoyed every second of it. Madam Temptress picks up right where Creole Kingpin left off with Moses needing to confess his secrets from the past and his real reason why they met 15 years prior. I have to say, I love, love, loooove Moses and Magnolia so damn much. They're absolutely perfect together. Especially because after they talked everything out, there were no grudges or pettiness. They were able to lay everything out and move forward and grow into a solid and devoted unit. As much as Ioved seeing Moses and Magnolia relationship grow stronger, what really made this story for me was the unexpected ending. Holy WOW! Meghan March did a great job building the suspense and lulling you into believing you knew exactly where this book was going. Then hitting you with a surprising turn that blows everything out of the water. Shock doesn't even feel like a big enough word to explain it. It's insane where this story goes. Phenomenal! Meghan brought her A game with Madam Temptress. I know this is Moses and Magnolia's story but good God!! Lachlan Mount!! If you thought you loved him before, prepare yourself because it's nothing compared to what you'll feel for him after reading this duet. His love for Kiera and his little girl...gah!...my heart. Long live the Ruthless King!! If you haven't started your binge yet, do yourself a favor and get on it asap. You don't want to miss out on this outstanding second chance romance. It'll take you on a wild ride.

What another stunning conclusion to another fantastic duet. Madam Temptress picks up right where Creole Kingpin left off. We learned the secret that Moses has been keeping from Magnolia and I was on pins and needles to finally know what it is and how she would react. If you’ve read any of this author’s books, you already know that you have nothing to worry about, but you also know about the twists and turns and a whole range of emotions you will feel throughout the book. In book 1, I already felt like Moses had redeemed himself but in this book he surpassed that and I fell completely in love with him! His feelings towards Magnolia is fierce and so strong and absolute. He is willing to do whatever he has to keep her safe. My admiration towards Magnolia also has increased so much. We already knew what a bada$$ she is, but she is that and so much more. She has gone through so much in her life and had to do whatever she had to to survive. These two were perfect for each other, the love they feel for one another is strong and this definitely helped them get through everything they go through in this book. We not only have two amazing main characters in Moses and Magnolia, but the reappearance of Mount and Kiera made this book so much more. I forgot how scary Mount could be, especially when there is danger toward his friends, his city and most especially his family. Overall the Magnolia duet was awesome, filled with the nail biting suspense, intense chemistry, tears and the all consuming love

Following directly on from Creole Kingpin all the ugly truths are about to come to light. Although whatever you are thinking I can promise you it isn’t that. The tension is astronomical within the pages of Madam Temptress, the plot delves into unexpected territory when you have a psychopath chasing you for revenge. These are not your normal protagonists with who you relate, Mags and Moses are the survivors; they’ve done things that cross boundaries, illegal, moral and emotional. Yet, you can’t help but admire their sheer grit and determination, not only to survive but to thrive. Despite all the things they have experienced, Mags and Moses deserve their own slice of happiness. As always I am immensely impressed with the way in which Megan March ties together her characters with those from her other books, especially in this case where we get more Mount. I never thought I would agree with Mount on anything but in this instance, I was cheering him on from the sidelines. And that is all I am going to say on the matter 😉 Madam Temptress is a supremely clever romantic suspense, it will have you on the edge of your seat, your heart thrumming with each turn of the page.
