I didn't think it was possible for Meghan March to top herself but she has. Move over Lucas Titan (Beneath These Scars), there's a new man in town. Boone Thrasher. *swoon*. I am the woman with *no* book boyfriends but Meghan's heros tempt me mightily. We've gotten to know Country Music Superstar Boone Thrasher in previous Meghan March Series and this story is set to start off with a very dramatic proposal. Boone is planning to propose to his long time girlfriend and then drive away in his freshly restored kickass 442. Problem is the Fiance-to-be is a no show and isn't answering her phone. Boone and his friend Zane Frisco take off in the car and hit up a little dive bar for some quiet, low key fun. While there, Boone finds two things - he receives some very bad news and Ripley - the best thing he will ever find in his life. I loved this book so hard. It's part one of two and usually I'm impatient about waiting for the next book. This time, I'm not. Instead I'm just going to ride the (book) high of reading one of the best books I've ever read and wait patiently for its companion. Boone and Ripley don't fall into insta-love but they are so completely perfect together and their journey is alpha-licious. I'm excited to see how Meghan wraps up the story and where she takes them. 5 stars doesn't even begin to cover what I'd give this book but that's my rating. 🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠

When I dare to open the pages of a book from Meghan March I know that I am going to experience a wild rollercoaster ride that will stretch and shred me to the very core, but in the end it will be worth every painful tear that escapes my heart. They force me out of my comfort zone and make me realize that I can be so much more than I am allowing myself to become by standing still and staying safe. My words are not fancy or flamboyant, but they are straight from my heart. I won’t win any awards, but perhaps I can get you to stop, think, and consider. That more than anything is all that I can ask for.
