When we say something like "I give an apple to my friend.", 'my friend (친구)' becomes the recipient of my action, to which we attach the particle '에게'. And when I say "I give water to the tree," 'the tree (나무)' becomes the recipient of my action, yet we attach '에' to '나무' rather than '에게' because '나무' is not a human. In this book, we'll look at what the particles '에게', '에게서' '에' and '에서' are and how we might use them to make sentences skillfully. Please post your class-related questions in the YouTube lesson comments.

-The book consists of three sections. THE STUDY BOOK, THE EXERCISE BOOK and THE PRACTICE BOOK. The first one is for learning new expressions and grammar, and it includes a number of questions to give quick understanding. The second is to deepen what you’ve just learned and its applications through answering a variety of questions, and the last is to etch its comprehension in your memory so you don't forget anything and move on to the next lesson.

Hello, my name is Mark Yeon and I am Korean. To begin with, I must admit that I can speak Korean, but it is not my major; instead, I am studying sociology in Japan. However, I have spent more than half of my life learning English and Japanese. I am the type of man who understands what it is like to study foreign languages. I encountered numerous obstacles and frustrations, as well as numerous ups and downs while learning them, and I felt an insatiable thirst and a sense of lack among the flood of textbooks available on the market. And I wondered, "Why aren't there books that force me to put what I've learned into practice?" So I've been working on these books since I started teaching Korean in Malaysia about 15 years ago. Finally, my first book series has been published. They are similar to my children. I hope you enjoy it and hope to one day be able to speak Korean fluently. But keep in mind that the only way to get there is through perseverance. Thank you kindly.
