About the author

Mark Pearson has worked as a journalist on a variety of metropolitan, suburban and regional newspapers and was a section editor on the Australian. He is currently Associate Professor of Journalism at Bond University, Queensland, and is author of A Journalist's Guide to Media Law. Jane Johnston has worked primarily in newspaper journalism and public relations. She has taught in both these areas at the Queensland University of Technology and Bond University.
