Worst book in the series! Plot lines that go nowhere, abrupt endings to other plot lines. Incredibly predictable and disappointing ending. And what was the point of the eye surgery spycraft thing? It was a big part of the story but it went nowhere. This was just straight up lazy writing.

This started with the usual intrigue that most Tom Clancy books have. It had a very abrupt ending and left me somewhat disappointed.

About the author

A little more than thirty years ago, Tom Clancy was a Maryland insurance broker with a passion for naval history. Years before, he had been an English major at Baltimore's Loyola College and had always dreamed of writing a novel.
