Wow! Loved this book! It's another winner in Rosato & DiNunzio series. In it, Mary DiNunzio, has a meeting with a friend of the family that she's known since childhood, and agrees to represent him in a wrongful termination case. However, shortly after taking the case, her partner, Bennie Rosato, informs her that she can't take it because the represent the parent company as well as the subsidiaries. Bennie is friends with the CEO of the parent company and feels both legally and ethically bound to him. Almost before the termination case has begun, the employer has begun swinging hard at both the terminated employee as well as Mary personally. With all of that going on, the real truth is buried deep and is only revealed at the very end. As the title suggests, there are secrets that have criminals feeling exposed. This is a clever and well written novel that will make you think. I love that some the issues raised are real issues currently being grappled with by legal scholars. Fans of the genre will love this book - it's a must read that should be at the top of every reader's tbr.
