Ratings and reviews

I'm really on the fence about these books. On one side is the fact they are cliffhangers which I absolutely detest, feeling they are a crutch used by an inadequate author who can't write an ending that entices the reader to purchase the next book in the series. On the other side is-- this is Lexi Timms we're talking about! I've read several of her novels and always found her writing excellent, the story tightly woven, moving briskly right up to the satisfying ending. Why would such a capable writer resort to intimidation when she could use persuasion instead? And not just one but three in this set alone, presumably four altogether before allowing the exhausted reader to be satisfied? So I gave three stars for the quality of the writing which should be worth 4.5 minimum, and took away two for the wholly unsatisfying endings.

Grew tired very quickly of the constant blowing hot and cold by Heather. Passion blew up out of nowhere followed by pushing away. Over and over. That grew old, fast. Also the way this couple couldn't control themselves for long enough to dig themselves out of the hole they got into... because they couldn't control themselves. Not the author's best effort.

Very addictive read a read the 3 books everyday and night into early mornings, sleep deprived myself because their so intriguing although a new the culprit from the get go, what a love story to be shared, love reading every bit of it although a would of liked to know more about the custody case her ex put on her and how her child accepted Simon and who took Simon's space to be ceo, it woulds of made the story more better to end instead of putting happy ever after.
