It had a lot of potential but it failed to live up to it. the beginning was the best part but after that it had a lot of the same conversations repeat, didn't progress much and left me disappointed

For the fans of Sarah J. Maas and Holly Black, you need to read this book asap! I loved this book so much, a retold Cinderella that follows Abriella being torn between right and wrong, between her moral duty to her family and her heart, between two kingdoms, between two men, between darkness and light and between her past and her in the future. What I loved the most is the fact that it's not a white or black book, rather a morally grey book where all the characters are allowed to make mistakes, are flawed, all learn, all have humanity in them, loss, regret, love and all of them transform. It's important that you pay attention to the details in the first 3/4 of the book because they will reveal the full story and the twist at the end, OMG!!!! Lexy Ryan is such a talented writter and I can't wait to see what she has prepared for us next.
