Ratings and reviews

The narrator sounds so intense all the time theres no neautral to return to. It can be kind of hard to listen to. I can see why lovers of A Court of Thorns and Roses would be into this story. There's just as much inane babble and irrational whining. I'm rolling my eyes so much they might fall out before the end of the book. Then again, if my eyes survived acotar they'll survive this too. The whole thing feels very similar. Different sweater, same fabric.

The emotional processing that the characters go through can be a little awkward, but the book hit its stride 2/3 of the way through
