Nikolai finally gets the credit he deserves.. Such a great character definitely needs his own set of books and so glad he does! I don't think it is up there with Shadow & Bone in terms of wow-factor but it holds its own.. Rule of Wolves is next and definitely a must-read after this one!

This book is such a page turner. So fascinating to read and the plot so nice. it is so beautifully written and so descriptive. I absolutely loved it and I'm now reading sage and storm. please read this! even if you think it's not your things or you don't like the first chapters, trust me, you'll love it. I would usually never read this, but I did, and now I'm obsessed. can't wait for the show on Netflix!

I've read this in two whole days for 1. Nikolai, 2. I'm really sorry for the ones who loved the original Grisha Trilogy, but this was better. A total page turner.
