About this ebook

One night. One brutal attack. One fate irrevocably changed.

A year ago, I was an ordinary person. Then one night changed everything. I survived a brutal attack that turned me into a werewolf. Just like that, I went from sipping lattes to sprouting fur and fangs. Unable to cope, I ran away.

Now, after a year of soul-searching, I’m back in the Big Easy. It’s time to rebuild the life I left behind and mend my broken bond with Sam, the mate I rejected. Leaving him was the stupidest thing I’ve ever done. I just didn’t realize it until it was too late.

Unfortunately, my homecoming isn’t all smooth sailing and joyful reunions. There’s someone out there turning innocent people into werewolves—a scenario that’s a little too familiar for my liking. I refuse to stand by and let it happen, but to stop the attacks, I need my mate’s help.

While on the hunt, I’m determined to show Sam that my running days are over. This is my chance to fight for our city and win back the heart of the man who’s my destiny. I’m in it for the long howl—I just need to survive long enough to prove that to him.

definitely steamy as occasion offers, but so much more: sisterhood connections with her bestie Anna, now a recently wed vampire; difficult family connections with her biological folks and the stepdad who was the father who raised her, and a mom who really did not help her werewolf transition then again, sperm donor Reggie did not mentor her growth as a werewolf- total alphahole, and very unlike Adrien, pack alpha father to Sam Sam and Lucy fight hard to survive, and harder to work pas their baggage as mates, with her limited understanding of what that might mean Horrific assaults on the human born explore intriguing dynamics of pack and prejudices- and these might well have long term repercussions for other packs unique combinations of grit, grief, humor, love and madness that is compelling to read and very insightful . I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
