I have not yet read this book but I just purchased it on Google Play and I have loved every other book she has ever written she is by far my favorite author of all time

Big fan of the series, last book(Perfect Blood)was just okay. This one however was absolutely everything I've been waiting for. Lots of twists...I hope this isn't the last one. I love this world Kim has created, I never want it to end!!!

Having read all of this series to date I had ideas about choices Rachel would make, or directions I thought this book would go. I am happy to say that I was STILL shocked and pleased with where Kim Harrison actually took me as a reader. So unseen was the ending of the last fight. My fear, my sadness, my worry, all too real. Absolutely brilliant!

About the author

Kim Harrison is best known as the author of the #1 New York Times bestselling Hollows series, but she has written more than urban fantasy and has published more than two dozen books, spanning the gamut from young adult, accelerated-science thriller, and several anthologies and has scripted two original graphic novels set in the Hollows universe. She has also published traditional fantasy under the name Dawn Cook. Kim is currently working on a new Hollows book between other, nonrelated, urban fantasy projects.
