About this ebook

Patricia Briggs “has reached perfection”* in this #1 New York Times bestseller, as Mercy Thompson faces a shapeshifter’s biggest fear...

Mercy’s life has undergone a seismic change. Becoming the mate of Alpha werewolf Adam Hauptman has made her a stepmother to his daughter Jesse, a relationship that brings moments of blissful normalcy to Mercy’s life. But on the edges of humanity, what passes for a minor mishap on an ordinary day can turn into so much more...

After a traffic accident in bumper-to-bumper traffic, Mercy and Jesse can’t reach Adam—or anyone else in the pack. They’ve all been abducted. Mercy fears Adam’s disappearance may be related to the political battle the werewolves have been fighting to gain acceptance from the public—and that he and the pack are in serious danger. Outmatched and on her own, Mercy may be forced to seek assistance from any ally she can get, no matter how unlikely.

Like all of the Mercy Thompson series I loved it. I rarely reread books but I have read this series to many times to count. Although there was loads of things that I believed should have been given in more detail. Like the issues with fae, and what happened with the wolves that killed the man. Hopefully the next book will go into those things. But overall this book made the union of Mercy an Adam more real.

Frost Burned picked up the pace from River Marked. Mercy is back in action, this time to save Adam and his pack. Caught in a hard spot with next to no back up, Mercy has to rely on the people she least likely would expect. Full of action from the first chapter, I was hooked as characters I've grown to love were threatened and Mercy was pushed to new limits. Briggs never fails to keep me on the edge of my seat.

I just love Patricia Briggs, her books are the best. You can't go wrong when you put almost every supernatural creature in one book. I can also relate to the main character Mercy. I can't wait to read Frost Burned. I just know its going to be awesome. I am very excited that march is only like a month from now.
