I love julia Garwood but her newest books just are missing the great plots her older ones have. Why the leading lady in this one had some depth and I liked her... Aiden just seemed like a jerk. No understanding to why he acted like he did. I didn't feel involved with him what so ever... I would rather see her with Laim then him. It wasn't a horrible story but it wasn't great I found myself a little bored most of the time reading it.

It wasn't as discriptive as Hot Shot, Sweet Talk & The Ideal Man (Julie surprised me with Hot Shot), I think I love the characters more than the story, getting to know them from previous books, it should've been more detailed, Aiden deserved better!

Has exceptional storyline engaging readers with characters from her Buchanan novels I thought this novel had multiple intersecting stories all contributing to this mystery/suspense romance. One of my favorite Julie Garwood books fast paced and interesting read. Couldn't believe had only a 3.0 rating
